One of the great features of the iPad 2 has been the Apple Smart Cover for the front, but many of the new back covers don’t fit with the front cover installed. For the few that do, the colors don’t seem to match.
Sanho has come to the rescue with the coolest set of back covers on the market today. Available in 11 colors to match the Apple Smart Cover, the HyperShield works perfectly with the Smart Cover to offer complete protection of the iPad 2. It is made of durable Thermoplastic Polyurethane with gel-like shock absorbing properties to protect the iPad 2 aluminum back from bumps and scratches. The color-match is excellent, giving the appearance that the front and back came as a complete set. The tan leather on my white iPad 2 is now very impressive, and very well-protected.
The installation was fairly easy, considering that the fit is very snug, as it should be since its only 1.4mm thick. After two weeks of wear-and-tear, it has resisted stains and scratches better than the cover, and it is completely washable. With its quality construction and durability, it should hold its shape, color and form for a long time to come. Some have said that this is the “back cover that Apple forgot” and “a beautiful matching case”. For me, the tactile feel is very comforting, and the appearance completes the full package.
