    Democracy Player

    Picture_2_1 The Participatory Culture Foundation's Democracy Player 0.9.5 is an open source viewer and "tuner" for Internet TV and video podcasts. It supports subscriptions to any internet TV channel and includes a built-in Channel Guide with hundreds of channels. This release adds interface refinements, a Share menu, partial proxy support, storage of videos by channel, pause/resume for downloads, improved BitTorrent performance, automatic thumbnail generation, and other changes. Democracy Player is free for Mac OS X 10.3 and up (Universal Binary), Linux, or Windows XP/2000.
