When not in your hand, how do you position your iDevice for easy and convenient access? I’ve had many different mounts, clamps, stands, and other holders, then I found this innovative solution at Macworld/iWorld 2013.
The iSlider pocket stand is designed to hold an iPad, iPad mini or any iPhone. It is a portable and adjustable stand that is easy to carry, use, and keep. I simply slide out its base, adjust to my preferred viewing angle, and rest my iPad (or iPhone in the holder. With its sleek streamlined profile, the iSlider’s aluminum casing provides firm support for viewing and typing on devices.
The iSlider has a unique sliding mechanism with an adjustable angle that varies from 15 to 70 degrees from horizontal. While being slim and lightweight, it supports landscape and portrait orientations in a sturdy anodized aluminum that matches iPad. It includes a cutout for the cable, and a handy carrying bag. The durable design accommodates most protective cases commonly used on iDevices.
This unit is very attractive, and solid in design. Its easy to move around, but almost skid-proof with substantial rubber feet. The adjustments are simple, and the positioning quite stable. Its convenient to keep on my desk, or to take in my bag, but a little more than I really want to carry in my pocket.
