There is now an iPhone app called Reminder+ that will remind you to buy a specific item the moment you reach the grocery store, and again when you leave (just in case you got distracted at the candy counter). It will also remind you to pick up other items on your way home, and even lets you add a timer to be notified when something is ready.
Need to buy a mother’s day present for that wonderful woman who raised you? Adding a reminder is just a few taps away! And with recurring reminders, you can be reminded every day, every week, or even every month – until you finally find the perfect present.
If you are cooking a meal, or timing a race (or other timed event), simply set the timer reminder and let Reminder+ do the work for you. Its easy to change the reminder tones for the alarm, places and timer. Plus, you can save all of your most-used countdowns, so they're always just a tap away.
With Reminder+ you can also share reminders! Sending your significant other out to run errands? Simply email or text a reminder of what to get, and it will automatically be added to the other's Reminder+ app. No fuse, no muss, this is a straight-forward and easy-to-use reminder system.
I do hope that they make it easier to change the name of the place that is saved. And, that moving the pin to create a new place becomes easier. In spite of what the app description says, this app does not work with the iPad.
For only $1.99 at the App Store, this should work well for you.
