Where did Spring go? Summer is now upon us with hot days and cool nights a daily reality. I find myself pulled between duties. opportunities, and responsibilities inside (which fuel my techie acquisitions and lifestyle), while the outside beckons with fresh air, warm sun, and healthy exercise (which I need). Meanwhile, Apple continues to produce new and exciting products and operating systems to keep our investments interesting and rewarding.
Our last event was the Annual appleJAC Picnic at Cole County Park where 32 members, family, and friends shared wonderful food, drink, and conversation. Many thanks to George Kopp and Mark Snell for cooking (and Alice Kopp and Sue Snell for acquiring and setting up food, utensils, and condiments). It was another successful event with beautiful weather and light breezes. Thanks to all who attended, and sorry for those who could not.
The next meeting is our annual Apple@Work session to be hosted by Modern Litho in Algoa (see agenda below for details). This was arranged by owner Greg Meeker who has offered manager Josh Crawford as the presenter and tour guide. This promises to be very interesting and educational as we see how Macs, iPads and Apple-related products are used for a wide variety of local, national and international publications and print products. A map is included below to help guide you there.
As always, we invite members and guests to learn more about getting the most out of our Apple investments, while enjoying the company of great people and exchanging lots of valuable information. See you at the next meetings . . .
